Job Description
The accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, supporting audits, and providing financial insights that contribute to informed business decision.
Requirements
•
1 -Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
•
2- CPA (T), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
•
3- Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience.
•
4- Experience in consultancy, professional services, or corporate finance is an added advantage.
•
5- Demonstrated experience in statutory compliance and financial reporting.
•
Technical skills:
•
1- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian tax regulations and statutory compliance.
•
2- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, Sage, Xero, or similar ERP systems).
•
3- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
•
4- Strong financial reporting and reconciliation skills.
•
5-Budget preparation and financial analysis.
•
6- Payroll management.
•
7- Knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.
