Requirements

• Qualification Requirements:

• 1- Degree in Statistics, Information Management, Geomatics / GIS

• 2- Diploma in Statistics, Records and Information Management, Geographic Information

• Systems (GIS), Forestry or a related field from a recognized Tertiary Institut

• 3- 2 + years of experience

• 4- Experience in Forestry or a related field

• Knowledge Area

• 1- Forestry programs (TAP, CBFM, JFM) and sustainable curing-fuel monitoring

• 2- Data analysis, database management and reconciliation

• 3- Document control and records management

• 4- Satellite forest-monitoring platforms and datasets (Global Forest Watch, GFW Pro, deforestation alerts, tree-cover loss data, Sentinel-2 and Landsat imagery)

• 5- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, advanced Excel)

• 6- Geographic Information Systems and spatial analysis (QGIS or ArcGIS)
